You should read the Privacy Statement integrally, but here are few key points you need to know.
If you have questions or concerns regarding this statement, you should contact Audiority customer service by email.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
We maintain a record of all your purchases: when you make an order (product, service) through the site, we ask you to provide personally identifiable information by filling out and submitting a form. This information includes your name, home or work telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, and payment method (but NOT payment information). We use this information, including purchase date, to process your orders, and to allow us to send updates, process refunds, or transfer purchases from one account to another.
You may request details of all information held about you by us at any time.
Payment processing for our store is exclusively processed through FastSpring, regardless of whether you are paying via a PayPal account, credit card, or debit card. We do not collect, process, or retain your payment data. It does not exist on nor pass through our web server. We have NO access whatsoever to your payment account information.
When you register to our User Area, you will provide us a username, your full name and a password of your own choosing. Password data is encrypted in our database and cannot be accessed (only reset). For security, it is always best to use a different password for every website you use.
Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. They enable us to provide features such as remembering aspects of your last search to make subsequent searches faster. Cookies can be deleted from your hard drive if you wish. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change your browser settings to prevent that. Even without a cookie you can use most of the features on the web site. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information.
We use Google Analytics to monitor anonymized traffic information about how visitors arrive to our website, and what behaviors or actions take place on our website. We do not track actions outside of our own website.
We also use a “Facebook pixel” on our site. This sends anonymized data to our Facebook business account indicating that a purchase was made. This data allows us to understand whether a purchase was made by clicking on one of our Facebook ads. The data sent to Facebook is anonymous and does not include personal or payment information.
Like most standard Website servers we use log files. These includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. These files enable the analysis of trends, the administration of the site, the tracking of user’s movement in the aggregate, the diagnosis of problems with our servers and the collection of broad demographic information for aggregate use.
IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personal information.
Immediately after successfully completing the order process, we will send you an e-mail with the review of the product/service you have selected. This e-mail will also contain your order number and download links. You will receive this only once per transaction.
When you complete an order process, you can agree (opt in) to the submission of our newsletter. When you subscribe to any of Audiority newsletters you can be assured that your email address will not sold, exchanged, or in any way shared with third parties. Our newsletters are low traffic, so they will be sent only when something relevant (a new product/service, special offers, important communications) needs to be communicated to our subscribers or customers. You can unsubscribe from our newsletters at any time.
Although we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may be required by law to disclose information you have provided in obtaining our product/service. We may also disclose information against someone who poses a threat to Audiority‘s interests (such as customer fraud) or whose activities could bring harm to others.
We use an outside credit card processing company and bank check processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personal information for any other purpose.
As part of the services offered to you through this website, the information which you provide to us may be transferred to countries outside the European Union (“EU”). By way of example, this may happen if any of our servers are from time to time located in a country outside of the EU. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the EU. By submitting your personal data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing or processing. If we transfer your information outside of the EU in this way, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Policy.
If you use our services while you are outside the EU, your information may be transferred outside the EU in order to provide you with those services.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our user’s information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our user’s information is protected. Finally, the servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment, in a locked facility.
At any time, you may log in to your User Account to view all your information stored on our server. What you see in this area (email, physical address if any, purchase history) is the entirety of the data we store.
You may also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or using our Contact Form, and we can provide the raw data above as it is exported from our eCommerce platform (WooCommerce). Please allow up to 3 full business days for us to process these requests.
You may also at any time request that we remove your user data from our store. Please keep in mind that by doing so, you will be unable to view or re-download your previous purchases, and you will lose access to any past or future discounts associated with your previous user data.
If we decide to change our privacy statement , we will post those changes on this page, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
If, however, we are going to use user’s personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users on line. Our advice to the user is to periodically check this present privacy statement, in order to be up-to-date on the ways we manage personal data.
